Being here, in New York, has helped me to improve my English! I'm easily able to read signs and labels now; shopping has never been so easy for me. It's nice now that I finally feel like I'm beginning to fit in. And no one questions me as to why I'm always on my own, not even my neighbors. Life is so easy!

Done and done! I've already exchanged my yen for the currency here, and I got to a bank to make sure that my account is still open. And it is! It's so exciting, especially since now I have a nice place to live in this place called Manhattan. Some English is still lost on me, but I suppose that's the way it will be for a little while!
